Superb cast

This really might be the best collection of actors in one movie. The only other one that compares is the Godfather trilogy.

You gotta be largely right.

My brother and I were thinking about the movie the other day, and the list of wow people in it just went on and on. My favorite find from that movie was actually Pitt. His Floyd had me on the floor. For me, that's the movie that made him a star :)

I don't like too many people in this movie but it was still a good movie. There are a lot of bad movies with good casts.

I've always thought that James Galdofini got the role of Tony Soprano based on how terrifying and brilliant he was in this. I thought of one more movie that could compare. Heat was pretty packed with great actors, but I don't think it stacks up. Are you Sicilian? Lol

I'm not Sicilian, but I did describe Gandolfini's performance to someone just today as brilliant. I hadn't even thought about that until then but when I mentioned Gandolfini's being in the movie, I couldn't leave out that adjective.

I was referring to Dennis Hopper's epic scene with Christopher Walken about being Sicilian. Nonetheless, Gandolfini with all those amazing actors really stood out which convinced me he was the perfect Tony Soprano. Unbelievable actor.

There are other movies with arguably greater ensemble's, ie Heat(1994), The Thin Red Line. But yeah, this movie does have a remarkable cast.

a lot of movies have good casts but dont ensemble well

this movie everybody acted well! superb
