Clarence killing Drexl

The build up to this scene. Clarence convincing himself to do Drexler with the help of Elvis. Then going to the club house. I would have to be stone sober to pull that off. Don't make mistakes and be alert . You can't mess this up ! We're animals capable of anything.

If I had to choose a favorite scene from the whole film, this one might be it (the Hopper & Walken scene comes close). Fantastic acting by everyone, great tension, marvelous dialogue, and killer music. Badass scene all around!
