The movie was too cute.

There I said it, that's the movie's problem, there is very little story and too much cute stuff. I think that's good for toddlers, it probably helps them grow up with a less "murdery" mind, but for anyone older it's frankly awkward.

In real life, cute things are okay because you can tend them and/or befriend them, but in a movie it has no real purpose and alienates older viewers.

I reckon that sums up the films problem, with this in mind donot be sad of it's low rating.
