Anyone else notice the ending: similar to 'Magnolia' and 'Donnie Darko'

I would be surprised to know if the musical montage towards the end of 'Donnie Darko' and the final scene of 'Magnolia' were not heavily influenced by the orchestral piece at the end of 'Blue'. Though it may simply be coincidence?

It definitely reminded me of Magnolia by the way she was crying then subtly smiling at the end. Both are amazing films.
