Faces of Death isnt sick or repulsive and is fake, Traces of Death is real. So my guess is Traces though I havent seen it, but ive seen faces.

reply

Yes FoD is so fake but with 2 friend rent in a poor video store XD a FoD "for real" It name is FoD: Made in Asia and This is in 90% real I think ;)

reply

Yes, it is sicker dan faces. Everything you see is for real!
It's kicking and gore!

reply

Well, you dont know that for sure.......but not all of faces of death is fake....but most of it is though, but they are reanactments of actual events (and some just made to make money...or...yeah) the firing squad at the end of FOD 2 is real...thats actually all i know that is real in the whole FOD series, i should check out traces of death, even though my stores probably dont carry it just like they do with faces of death.

The scene with the surfer dude washing up on shore is real.

Traces of Death has a scene that is believed to be a fake. The last scenario on the tape is about a man named that is attacked by Lions on a safari trip. It goes into a story about a lawsuit. People who have investigated can find no proof to verify this claim. In another of the Traces movies there is a scene of a quartering that is pure flim flam.
Killing for Culture is an excellent resource for this genre.

Apparently the lion scene is taken from the 70's Italian movie SAVAGE MAN SAVAGE BEAST.

reply

Way sicker, because it has real footage.

The only sicker film I can recall is a japanese short film I've heard of, which features just footage of exploding heads.

I'm just killing time on planet earth....that must be why im here... NuTbAg

Yeah, Traces of Death is just a low budget montage of video clips of people being killed, surgery and so on. It's def. worth a look though if your into the whole real death/gore genre.

Faces of Death contained real and fake footage. Even the scene in FOD with the monkey being killed is staged.

sigh.

@Ricardo-36

What's its name?
Do you have any info?

reply

I'm interested in this film too. Anybody know?

EDIT: Since posting this I got a hold of the Guinea Pig boxset and Devil Doctor Woman has exploding heads, if memory serves. But the genre of that film is comedy so the scene is more slapstick than gore.

[deleted]

oh yes traces of death 3 has a real castarion

reply

Japanese must love exploding heads, just like the scene from David Croneburgs "Scanners" awesome...

reply

"Did you ever see that movie Scanners where that dudes head blew up"?

Ok. Seriously. I'm all fine with even the most twisted of torture movies etc...but these people in Traces of Death (and its multiple sequels) are REAL PEOPLE, some of whom who have families or people who cared about them, and you're watching the life literally leave their eyes. If these people could take back that instant they pulled the trigger or whatever (especially those poor sods who were in accidents, or were killed by their husbands) then I guarantee they would. And you're sitting here with bloodlust in your eyes and cheering for he next victim: and it seems to make no difference to you that prosthetics and fake blood have been replaced by real bone and brains and bits of human being. It's the kind of perversion that makes me disgusted with the human race. Jesus, these kinds of films shouldn't even be allowed to be rated on IMDB, let alone screened ANYWHERE. If you're that twisted that you want to MAKE a film like this, then that's your sick right I suppose (provided you have all the right permissions...which I HIGHLY doubt, considering the amount of material needed to fill 4 full-length movies, the members of "brain damaged" production company did...) But NOBODY has the right to put these poor people's last moments out for the rest of the world to gawk at, diminishing the sacridity of their lives at a rate of 24 frames-per-second. For the sake of the small amount of humanity left in the world, those of you who are "really into that kind of gore stuff" and urging others to watch this film, for the love of GOD get yourselves committed now, before just "watching" ceases to be enough to get your sick jollies off.
