I like it. I think it's a movie that can best be summed up as "fun". Plus, Rochefort is awesome. :)

This was a good movie. Since I am a big fan of Tim Curry's work I decided to treat myself and buy this DVD - and I hadn't even seen it yet (until last night). I guess this just shows how much confidence that I have for the quality of his work. He can do no wrong.

Hey, finally some people that I can agree with...
I don´t know why but I really like this movie! It leaves me with a good feeling every time I watch it. Plus I really like all the actors in it.
So, yeah...good film!

David: "Ok, don´t say gaydar."

This thing is still fun to watch even after 14+ years. It gets a bit dark with the execution of Rebecca DeMornay but the rest of it is awesome. Plus Rochefort is so well cast on top of the rest of the great casting. Tim Curry seemed like he was redoing Rocky Horror, but whatever, it was great fun.

I liked it too. I remember watching it in the theater, when it first came out. I rate it 7/10.

lmao well I definitely remember it as a fun and enjoyable film I remember watching it over and over again as a kid. I saw it just once as an adult and I didn't really think positively of it.....I prefer to remember it as it remains in my memory which is awesome

I did get the feeling that the actors enjoyed PLAYING the characters which is cool

For better or for worse, this was the Three Musketeers film of my childhood. I continue to like and enjoy it to this day. I think it's a fun breezy swashbuckling adventure. That being said, I can understand why there are those who don't like it.

Well said, OP! Too many damn whiny threads on here. It's a FUN movie that held up pretty good after 20+ years.

This version is the best for me, hell waaay better than the latest *beep* one with Logan Lerman in it.

Rommel...you magnificent bastard, I read your book!
