I haven't seen this film yet, but I'm thinking of ordering it on DVD, I'm a tobey fan anyway but I just wondered how big a part does he play in it? I don't want to get it if he's on screen for only a few minutes! Unless of course its a brilliant movie and I should buy it regardless! Anyone?

If you haven't already, get the movie anyways. Or make someone you know who has it let you watch it. It's not worth not seeing simply over an actor who has a small role. And ANYWAYS, how can you put Tobey Maguire over Deniro in ANY movie??
shareI actually think that Tobey Maguire is a better actor then Deniro, Deniro is great but a little too over-rated. Maguire worked his way from McDonalds commercial to be one of the best actors in the A-list. Anyway, i have seen the film ages ago, but i can't remeber what Tobey was in it, what did he do and what scenes was he in? i'll be thankful if you fill me in.

Come on! Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you can't compare Maguire to Deniro yet. Deniro's range of work is amazing...he is one of the best actors of this or any time. I understand you are a Tobey fan, but you have to wait a little longer before you can even compare the two.

Tobey Maguire is in two scenes in the car and then near the water when they all get drunk he has more than 2 lines he has quite a big speaking part in both scenes he is in but it always makes me smile when leo falls and you see Tobey look at one of the other punks with a grin on his face

Tobey Maguire is in one scene in the movie. It's the part where the story cuts ahead to two years later, and Jack is standing in front of his school smoking a cigarette, and then he gets into a car with a bunch of his friends. Tobey Maguire plays the guy who's sitting in the front passenger seat of the car.

I like your show,I admire your style, but your pays so cheap, I won't be back for a while.
Hilarious. That kid shows up in the darnedest places. I've seen this movie many times, and never noticed that was him. Same thing with 'The Wizard'. Did anybody honestly spot him in 'The Wizard' before knowing he was in it? At least he had speaking lines in this film.
