The music in this film brings out the mood and the anguish of the characters perfectly. Its is a big part of what makes this movie so good.

shareI think American Grafitti puts both Hollywood Knights and TGMB to shame. I mean American Grafitti is a classic! The other two will never be considered in the same class. They're both a "poor man's" American Grafitti. I will say this however, TGMB is far better than Hollywood Knights...Can't believe Michelle Pfeifer (sp?) ever signed on to do that cheap rip off of AG.

shareMichelle Pfeiffer was nobody when she did Hollywood Knights. She was probably waiting tables when she got the job. "Knights" is hilarious, much better than "TGMB" imho. Everybody's way too earnest and thoughtful in this movie. Another great soundtrack with music from the era is "Wonder Boys", also "Diner."
