does anyone else agree that, the borther in the end yelling was overly dramatic and te funniest thing ever.

Ha, it's good to know that other people found it funny.

My friends were convinced I was souless when I was choking back laughter at the end. I mean, I know it was meant to be heart-gripping and everything, but I just had the biggest impulse to laugh.

I don't remember my reaction to it the first time I saw it, ages ago, but I just watched it yesterday and I just had too laugh. It was so dramatic, it was laughable.

I have to return some video tapes.

We saw him running down the street (we as in my American Studies Class today) and felt sad and stuff. Then when the younger brother picks up the umbrella I suddenly laugh out loud because I thought he was going to start swing dancing with it (think of the green frog with cane and top hat from Warner Brothers). Then everyone laughed after he started shouting.

My teacher kept pausing the movie every 10 seconds right before the end and was asking: "Are you sure you want to watch this?"

When we finally got to the end, we knew what he was talking about.

And I laughed.

"Let's put a smile on that face!"

Weird.

There is a scene, in the film The 400 Blows, Antoine is sent to a jail cell and later in a police wagon full of prostitutes and thieves, with his face peering through the bars, full of tears.

Swing Kids ain't The 400 Blows,I guess...

I laughed so hard, it was so incredibly cheesy and OTT; I always expect the boy to pick up the umbrella and shout 'FREEEEEDOOOOM!'.
