This movie is totally underrated and needs some hype. It's been x years since it came out, but it still packs every punch and has carried every punch over those years. Give a Hell Yeah! for surf ninjas!!

I agree, thankfully I got a better cable package with good movie channels and they actually play it more frequently than I thought they would. So far I have seen it on Showtime Beyond and Encore
shareI saw this movie when I was a kid and kept having visions of it in my day over the years... and I just saw it listed on cable and am watching it now again. It's a really awesome experience remembering everything! It's a fun and awesome movie.

sharei dont know if id say its the greatest movie ever but it is one of them atleast for the category its in as far as a kids/teen movie or whatever it definetly is one of the greatest and im not sayin its bad that its a kids/teen movie ill still watch it actually watched it just a few days ago actually had forgot bout this movie for maybe a couple of years or so then going through some video tapes i found one that i had taped it onto from a movie channel now that was a few years a go but i imagine as soon as i found that tape i watched it i will say that it is such a great movie that i bought it on dvd soon after that partially hopin thered be more special features but also cause i like to own a movie i like a lot on dvd even though i have it on tape i say it a good enough movie to own on dvd

I think to truly like it though, you had to have seen it as a child a long time ago on TV...
I did see this movie when I was probably 9 or 10 at like 4 AM on TBS and I thought it was great...
Over the past 8-9 years, I always remembered this movie but I completely forgot the name of it so I was out of luck...then one night I was searching through the Encore On Demand section of Comcast and saw Surf Ninjas, and I was so pumped because I remembered the kid's hand-held video game, the ninjas, the pizza place, everything
It truly does make you recapture some of that youth and innocence you had when you were a kid without a worry in the world...
That said, if you get to be 18 before a viewing of this movie, you will want to give it a 4/10
