The whole business of Idle growing up in an Asian family, not understanding why he felt different to everyone else... remind anyone else of this Steve Martin movie?
shareyip, watching this again as an adult, it's was definatley similar, I must have watched this when I was about eleven years old, still very funny in places, but a very different story to the Jerk, both films shown very recently on British TV.
