I understand Travis hated Crawl because he thought he took Rebecca away from her, but why did fat Theo didn't like Crawl? maby because he was from the city or he proably thought Walter was going replace him for Crawl thinking he was actually engaged to his daughter.

Theo was sexually attracted to Crawl and didn't know how to express his feeling for him. He abused him as much as possible because he was holding back his sexual attraction to him. And after they drugged Crawl and the whore, theo had his way with Crawl and never told anyone. I would imagine that Theo committed suicide shortly after thanksgiving.
