BEST SNIPER MOVIE EVER

American Sniper is great too!

I don't think it's the best, but it's not a bad film. I've yet to see American Sniper which I've heard is really good. One of the best I've seen is Enemy at the Gates.🐭

Watching it now. Surprised at how well it has aged. The quality of acting and production are even better than i remembered. Berenger's acting was so effortless and believable.

Enemy at the Gate is a film based upon a book that was in turn based upon an urban myth. While Vasily Zaytsev was a real Soviet sniper, Konig was never proven to exist.

Enemy at the Gates is the best sniper movie. American Sniper is overrated and this one is just not believable. there is no way the military would send an Olympic shooter into the bush who has never had a kill. total bullsh*t.

We deal in lead, friend.

Hmm. Enemy at the gates us good but for rewatch appeal I'll go with Beckett and co

Yep Enemy at the gates is good but Sniper (1993) is king!

He wasn't *just* an Olympic shooter dude - he'd served in the US Army, as well as with police SWAT teams and was working for the NSC (National Security Council?) when he was given the mission.
All this is explained and discussed several times in the movie - how long is it since you watched it?

I completely agree, by the way, that Enemy At The Gates is a fcckin' great sniper movie. It's the only one I've seen that actually made me feel *tense* and even *afraid* in the most intense scenes.

I'm probably being sarcastic...
