DVD release?

When will this movie be released on DVD?

It would be nice if they included the alternate endings, especially the one featuring the volcano.
Any deleted footage.
Trailers would be nice too.
Also, I once read that to get an R rating they really had to cut down ALOT of the sexual elements of the film. The DVD could include both rated and unrated versions.

yeah i liked the movie. but what's the volcano ending?? i just didn't understand the ending of the movie. is berenger the bad guy? or is it baldwin. i was just so confused, and it was playing on tv, so i couldn't rewind to hear what sharon stone said just before the credits. as you see i was really confused. The volcano thing sounds interesting.. They gotta put it on the dvd when it comes out. (fox is slow to put GOOD movies on dvd (like THE CRUCIBLE & THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES)it'll come soon.

Sharon Stone's character said to Zeke to "Get a life" at the end of the movie before the credits. Tom Berenger's character was the bad guy, but Baldwin wasn't any more innocent in spying on all his tenants so there is a conflict there. Their both criminals but in different ways.

Before the credits, Sharon Stone said both "you like to watch? Watch this!" and "get a life".

Sliver will come out on DVD sometime, I heard it could be soon.

But, Paramount produced/distributed this film and took a lot of flack for it from critics. That usually means if the movie is released on DVD, it won't get any special features. And you can flat-out forget about ever seeing an Unrated version ever. Paramount doesn't do that. They have a policy that R-rated DVD's will sell more. They also have a general problem with deleted scenes and trailers- they don't like putting them on DVD's, therefore they usually don't. Paramount is a cheapskate company who usually only focus on video and audio quality of the films and shows they put out. Sometimes they do special releases for extra money, sometimes they do them for the prestige. The only good thing about them is that they always have a widescreen copy of all their film titles available. That's one thing they do right.

As long as the movies in widescreen, then I'm good.
