Based on the true story of con artist David Hampton

SPOILERS.

This man clearly had an identity crisis, he was running away from himself, he didn't know who he was, he wanted to be someone else, it wasn't just about the money.

Research con artists, they all have something in common which is they want to get rich the quick and easier way, but that way will come back at them like a knockout punch soon enough. These people do not want to work hard and legally like everyone else. These con artists think they are something special smh

This is a sad story not because David had no one, but because he didn't have an identity. Research God's Word aka The Bible, it mentions about having an identity in Christ. If everyone turned to Jesus, they would be secure in who they are in Him, they would have no need to pretend to be someone else and rob people.

David Hampton should have gone into acting for a living, it's a legal job and you can pretend to be someone else on a regular basis. But your work should not be your identification as a human being.

David Hampton wanted to fit into a lifestyle that he couldn't afford. Those rich people got their money however they got their money and then they chose to live expensively because they could. David Hampton got it twisted, he clearly wanted to belong in that type of society, but he went the wrong way about it, it was just a vicious cycle.
