It's been a long time since I've seen this but does she have any lines in this movie?

Yeah, a few. Nothing important though. What I'd like to know is whether she was really born in 1979, because she doesn't look 14 in this at all, and the character she's playing is 16/17 (based on the fact that she's in the same class as Lauryn Hill's character, who's described as "barely 17").

Yes she was only 14. She matured rather early, during her second season on KIDS INCORPORATED to be exact.

Just re-watched this tonight and thought it was funny in the credits she was listed as Jennifer "Love" Hewitt.

I always note how her character drastically changes. In the beginning she's aloof and more concerned with what she's gonna wear, then in the closing moments it's as if the actress realises this is her chance to get noticed so she's now hot and trying to act. (I am a fan)

You posted this on another post as well, but I don't think it's just her. It was like all the actors were asked to step it up or something.
