Did anyone see The Pacific?

I didn't realize until the other day that Joe Mazzello, who was delightful as Douglas Gresham, recently portrayed Eugene Sledge in HBO's The Pacific. Mazzello was one of my favorite actors in The Pacific.

^He was good in The Social Network though he had a small part only.

He was so good in this film. So often in films for the roles of children, they cast "cute" children who can smile, etc. Of course, Douglas is a key character in this film and has a very tough last scene. Mazzello showed a range of emotion that was simply astonishing for an actor of his age and was spot on throughout the film.
