The only DVD releases available seem to be 1.33:1. It could be that this was the intended aspect ratio... was it filmed for TV?
Does anyone know the original aspect ratio of the film?
EDIT: I just learned that both this and its original 10min incarnation, were originally created for the BBC. So, I imagine 1.33:1 (or "4:3" / "Full Screen") would indeed be the original aspect ratio.

I compared the pictures of the Korean DVD (SRE Corporation), which has the aspect ratio 1.33:1, and of the UK Manga Video, which has an aspect ratio between 1.66:1 and 2.00:1. The UK version is matted! So I guess 4:3 is indeed the original aspect ratio.

well it's by the bolex brothers and if they really did shoot it on an old Bolex camera, this aspect ratio is correct.
