The best way to purchase this movie is to order it direct from the producer's website at www.sankofa.com.

Don’t trust the Sankofa Web site. If you’re in Washington, go to the Sankofa Bookstore and Café on Georgia Avenue, where it sells for $25. Unfortunately, the fuzzily transferred DVD from a video source has no supplements, nor is it widescreen. Why doesn’t he make a deal with the Criterion Collection? Peace.
