Movies with similar time period and music?

I was looking for some movies like The Sandlot that take place in a similar time period and have music of that era. Some examples:

American Graffiti
October Sky
Far From Heaven
Forest Gump
Revolutionary Road
Catch Me If You Can
Walk the Line

The Wonder Years is kind of similar, in the respect that it's a narrative. It's a TV series, though.

A Christmas Story is another similar production.

The narration seems similar to me. Like The Wonder Years, and The Sandlot, it has A Christmas Story has an older version of the main character recounting his childhood experiences.

My Dog Skip or A League of Their Own (mentioned on another post) were not set in the 60's. They were both WWII era which would be the 1940's. Still great movies though!
