the Greek fellow....

The part where they took the old Greek guy away on the stretcher...

I always thought that he got killed, but a friend of mine, who had watched the movie for the first time, asked me yesterday if he had died in his sleep?

I stopped and thought about it and said, "You know? Never thought of that. He did seem like he was on his way out." (Matthew had to help him up the stairs)

Thoughts?

I think he died. Sure, I don't remember seeing any blood. L.L. could have strangled him, but who knows?

Yeah, I think he died in his sleep. I think that the purpose of that scene was to demonstrate what many years of living on the streets can do, it takes it's toll on you.

At the very least it's better to think that he died that way, peacfully, than to have Little Leroy stab him in his sleep for some reason.

That's some good insight. Your theory on the message what that scene was delivering.
