If any of you are like me you were angered that such a senseless thing could happen to Matthew and wanted to see Little Leroy get his in the end.
Peronally I like to think that he was seen killing Matthew by someone and was turned in and prosecuted. Or perhaps the following night he was pushed in front of a bus or a train.
Feel free to make up anything you like if it makes you feel better. :)
Little Leroy was a despicable character, but Ving Rhames, who played him, is a good and likeable person. During the filming of this, he met a homeless war vet who turned out to be his long lost brother and he got him a place to live, food clothes, a job. I have two movies in which he was a good guy. Mission Impossible and Dark Blue.
Now, as to Little Leroy.... Going by an old adage, "there's always somebody bigger and badder than you", I came up with a theory.
In the lobby of the Ft. Wash. Armory, in walks this new homeless. Average looking, average build. He's got a leather jacket, gold chain around his wrist, whatever. Corrupt guard stands there checking him out. Same scenario goes down as with Jason. LL and Cesar make their move.
LL: "Meeeooow. Kitty ca... "
Cesar: "AAAAHHHH, MUTHA FU... " (Cesar had just gone for the valuables when new kid mangled his hand and drove his fingers into Cesar's throat)
LL: "WHAT TH' F'... <screams> (new kid then sticks his fingers into LL's eye sockets and destroys his nose. LL bleeds uncontrollably)
Next thing Little Leroy knows, he can't walk, because the new kid broke his leg. Cesar's letting out these gruesome wheezing sounds, because of his throat. New kid is silent during all this. Guards come over.
Guard: "Hey. Y'know, we could put you in th' joint for this, but we'll let you slide. Jus' watch it next time. You kill somebody, it's too much paperwork."
