Bar Room Brawl.

If any one recalls when Pete and Frank got into the fight at the bar, the dad blames Rudy for it. The dad says "Frank Good"

What did the dad mean by saying "Good?" Why does he points the figure at Rudy for causing the fight. Meaning there were other people around the bar who saw what happend.

he said good to frank because he didnt lose the fight and stood his ground even though he was in the wrong.....he is kinda of blaming rudy for the fight and it kinda just goes to show you that rudy can do nothing right in his fathers eyes.

Ok! Thanks for the info.

Couldn't disagree more.
Dad was pizzed at both of them.

He wasn't saying "Good" (that's my boy..."
I thought he was saying "Good", (I knew I could count on you to be an a-whole).

The father was fed up with their bickering. I think he meant "Good" as in oh great my sons are fighting with each other again, will they ever stop? The problem is that Rudy never picks on Frank. Unfortunately, the father see is only as sibling rivalry. i, too, felt that he was more linient towards Frank. He grabed his neck in a comforting, nurturing manner.
As far as everyone else is concerned they all know about this family their disfunctionality because of close knit community. But nobody says anything because that is accepted behaivor.
