Did I just imagine it or is Alan Smithee listed as director in the opening credits? For his age that man sure gets about.

Director David Anspaugh was protesting his lack of creative control over the network TV version of Rudy, which had scenes cut to allow time for commercials. The network TV version of Anspaugh's Hoosiers is credited to the fictitious Jack Nemo.
