Coming-of-Age

I absolutely adore this film as a fine example of as close to perfect movie making as a film can get. It is a superb showcase for Ashley Judds' acting through its' superb cinematography, its' wonderful location choices, and the fact that Victor Nunez can ( take a lesson here, George Lucas ) write a script as well as direct and do both brilliantly. That is plus the fact the Ashley Judds' peformance is as close to movie magic as I have EVER seen since the original " Star Wars " ( 1977 ) and that is a compliment to Ms. Judds' work. Ashley herself said this was one of the most charming movie making experiences she ever had. I have no problem understanding why. It truly is a special movie.
