Bon Jovi movie?

I hate to admit it, i was still 12 or 11 when i saw this ad in the newspaper, romeo is bleeding immediately i thought wow this is cheezy, bed of roses isnt even popular anymore and now they made a movie out of the first sentences of the song.
"this romeo is bleeding, but you cant see his blood.."

Come to the world where the flavor is.

"Then, Bon Jovi had this chessy song and nowhere to put it.... There is nothing cheesy about 'Romeo is Bleeding'...."

Sorry, but I see it the other way. "Always" is by far one of Jon's best songs (it even says so on the trivia page mentioned in your own post), and this movie is definitely one of the worst ever made.

'Always' really touched me and heaps others :)

Bon Jovi are bloody awful and having one of their "songs" on the soundtrack would have been a terrible idea.

Yup. Bon Jovi are sub-Journey tosh.

Actually, the song is based on the title of the movie. Jon wrote the song (I believe as a favor to the film's producers) for the movie after hearing about the calibur of actors in the film and after seeing a short first treatment of the script. Once he saw the final (awful) cut, however, he pulled the song immediately. So, Always was actually written before Bed of Roses or Keep the Faith and shelved for a few years to be instead released on the Greatest Hits album "Crossroad." Then it became a giant success.

If only I could pull usefull information out of the sky instead of this... ;)

Yup, that's right. Jon was asked to write the song, but once he'd seen the film, realised it was too crap for the song, and kept it to use for a later album.

I'm kinda glad he did. The song is way better than the film!

Lmao. Journey and others had already exhausted the power ballad a decade before "Always" came out. You're talking about a very average song like it's "Yesterday" or something.
