Does anyone out there know exactly what happened to Annabella Sciorra's character? Are we supposed to believe that
A.) Natalie just left Jack and never came back or
B.) Natalie was murdered by Mona
Does anyone out there have a fairly definite answer?

I think Natalie just left and never came back. She got tired of Jack's crap and took the money he gave her and never returned.
shareI agree with pogo_sport. I always had the impression that she loved Jack, but was still very angry with him and could just never forgive him and decided to screw him over by taking the money and disappearing.
But that's why I love this movie so much. It's one of the few flicks out there that doesn't give us a cookie-cutter happy ending and leaves us to fill in a few of the blanks (without just being careless about it).

Yeah, besides, if Mona killed Natalie don't you think she would have made Jack find out in the most horrible way possible?

If you pay careful attention to the DVD, you can see her closing the wedding album just as Jack is entering their yard. If you use slow-motion on your DVD player, you can just barely make out a black-and-white pic she's hiding, it shows a man and a woman embracing. There is also a scene where Jack asks Natalie "How come you never show me those pictures you make?" or something similar, and she immediately changes the subject.
shareI think after he missed the first rendezvous dates, Natalie wrote him off as dead. That is, assuming she ever made it to them herself.

Mona told Jack that Natalie was dead, implying that she had killed her. That's why Jack shot Mona and put the gun in his own mouth. That is my opinion anyway.
