Is this still funny in 2013

It's coming on TV and i wanted to know if the jokes in this movie are still funny and if it still holds up 20 years later? So my question is, should I watch it? Or has it not aged well and therefore not worth it?
All answers much appreciated.

There is some funny joke or gag coming around the corner at all times in this movie. It is timeless.

You can also remember that the garbage that they crank out nowadays, makes even an average seventies or eighties movie look like the most shining gem of a masterpiece ever created by comparison.

So, surely a relatively good and funny-ish early nineties movie will also look like it's the most brilliant miracle in the world of movies that you have seen for decades.

Im finding there's a lot of current events humor which is going to go over the heads of a younger generation. For example the Patriot arrow reference to the first gulf war
Also, there's a big use of older actors impersonating other old time actors, none of whom would be recognized by millenials. Sadly, I think even the "Hey Abbott!" joke will go over their geads.

reply

Yeah, people just don't know the classics anymore.
