In the final, crematory scene Julie asks Curt something like "where are we going?" and Curt says "Where we belong." I was wondering if you think he meant they belonged dead or if he meant they belonged in Hell? When he says this they're surrounded by the flames of the crematory as if that was symbolic of the place they're going after death. Curt did kill many people by being selfish enough to try to bring Julie back to life.

actually, i think curt meant that they will be together forever which is what they promised earlier in the movie. I also think you should be more open to the possibility that there is a hell.

reply

<< Hell is an invention of Christian Preachers who had trouble convincing people that they should follow the teachings of the bible. So they resorted to scare tactics. There is no Hell. >>

What the heck does this have to do with anything? Not the topic or forum for this and just irrelevant to your reply. People really need to let people be. I'm not an Athiest, but jesus... so many Athiests out there are just as bad as the fundamentalists.

reply

I shouldn't have been so didactic.
Believe whatever makes you happy.
Sorry if anyone felt I was preaching. :)

The girl in ROTLD3 is pretty.

Have a nice day.

reply

He meant that they belonged together and that's what they would be.

Maybe Curt meant that since they are both 'dead' (well,he was soon to be) that they deserve to be DEAD. Maybe he was saying that after you die, you should stay dead, and not be going on an extreme rampage, eating people and spreading your disease. Just my thoughts.....
