Might be late but, Iago saves the day when he destroyed jafar's lamp since destroying a genie lamp kills the genie. Jafar dies a horrible agony but quick death

Agreed. I never watched RoJ growing up. So I watched it some years back, and remember thinking that Jafar had the longest death of any villain. lol
