Jafar's new wardrobe?

I have been a fan of Aladdin since I was around 2 years-old when it came out. Its my favorite Disney movie and Jafar is my favorite Disney character. His black robes, red cape, snake staff, and attitude were so badass. When The Return of Jafar came out, my mom bought me and my bro a copy. I loved the movie, but I was upset about Jafar's new pink and red color scheme... it made him look gay. I was only 4, but I remember this like it was yesterday. Being the strange child that I was, I think i remember actually crying over it. Anyone have an explanation as to why the animators chose to do this to the most powerful sorcerer in the world?

Hmm, that's wierd. I thought it was still red and black. But his hat turned out wierd. *shrugs* I honestly have no clue.

No matter what, Steve Irwin will never be forgotten.

THe outfit was the same one as the original but inverted... I guess they forgot which bits were black and which were red cos they were the opposite way round... either that or it was intentional to emphasise the 'red genie' effect towards the end.

I think it was because ever since he became a red genie, his wardrobe changed. But yeah, he looked better in black.

That's what I assumed. He's red as a genie so I guess they jsut decided to give him more of a red color scheme versus black to match his genie form. However I agree that the black outfit looked much better.

He's a red genie so his outfit now reflects that motif.
