I've never gotten a chance to see this movie, but I really liked the old Ironside series from the late '60s and early '70s. I think it's great that both Barbara Anderson (Eve) and Elizabeth Baur (Fran) were written into the storyline along with everybody else from the old days.
shareI too like the old Ironside series; however, my favorite seasons are 1-4 with Barbara Anderson. Even though I do like Elizabeth Baur, I never really could get into Seasons 5-8 in which she appeared. The show just seemed so different and not in a good way after Barbara's departure. I also saw The Return of Ironside when it was originally broadcast back in 1993 and I really enjoyed it.
shareI liked both Eve and Fran. It was pretty much a tie for me between the two of them. I thought both of them were pretty and smart and obviously terrific police women.
