the ending part did startle me

The police cars arrived at the airport just before the plane took off. I was worried how they would finish this movie with only a few seconds left (I have a timer to countdown the movie). Then I knew it was about organ donors and I felt relieved....... but what do police cars have to do with the organ donation? Shouldn't it be ambulance rather than police cars?

We are all globe villagers.

The police cars were probably escorts to get through stoplights, etc, and probably to get through security at the airport.

What and ending to a some what luke warm movie. I give much credit for Basinger carrying this movie.

Since when do we send donated organs on a regular flight to another country? Very lazy ending, but I enjoyed the film.

I have to admit, the ending startled me too. I thought they were going to get busted by the cops when they got on that plane.
