biggest budget movie on MST3K?

I mean this movie sucked but it seemed to have a big budget. most of the movies on mst3k seemed to be strained alot by low budget but everything in this movie seemed a tiny bit better. Though it sucked it wasnt as bad as I wanted it to be.

I'm not so sure this one had much of a budget..
Some of the sets were fairly elaborate, true, especially the "tree city" of Prince Jamteer. However, the vast majority of this movie seemed really cheap to me. Some examples are the stupid half-masks worn by the "forest people" which looked to be straight off the shelves of Walgreens, and the secret pamphlet of Archimedes which was made of construction paper and held together with staples!

As much ridicule as I heap upon this movie, I have to admit it's leagues beyond the typical MST fare. It's just also really easy to mock :)

I don't know for sure if this is the case, but it looked to me like they may have saved on some of the budget for this movie by just filming it at one of the larger Renaissance Festivals that are held all over the country each year. Much of the scenery, costumes, extras, look to be right out of a Ren Fest.
But, regardless, you're right this is a bigger budget, and with some actors you may have actually heard of, compared to other MST3K movies.
I've heard the MST3K guys say before that they actually wanted to sometimes do movies that were bigger budget and more popular, but they could never get the rights to more well known movies.

Good call:

"A large portion of this movie was filmed at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Black Point, Novato, California. Performers from the Faire were employed as extras in various scenes throughout."

I would opine that Epidode 617 "The sword and the dragon" was probably the most expensive.

Marooned, starring Gene Hackman, Gregory Peck and winning a special effects Oscar. The Day the Earth Froze is a pretty lavish Soviet,Finnish production and a lot closer to being 'good' than this piece of dreck.
