Anyone remember the origianl subtitle of this?
It was called Puppet Master 4: When bad puppets turn good.
It has that as the title on the Puppet Master 3 VHS ending.
Does anyone know if that was the idea for it to be versus Demonic Toys?

PUPPET MASTER 4 was originally intended to be PUPPET MASTER VS DEMONIC TOYS. There was even a teaser poster released at the time. However I'm not certain why this was changed. Director Jeff Burr revealed in a interview 4 and 5 were originally written as one film oddly titled "PUPPET MASTER: THE MOVIE" and would have been directed by Charles Band for a theatrical release.
Perhaps Charlie decided to split the script and make more money off two cheaper films, as opposed to one expensive film.
As for PMvsDT, the only official script I can think of was Courtney Joyner's which sat on the shelf as far back as 2001 before Charlie sold it to SyFy.
