There must be something wrong with the rating system, this gets a 7.4 while the Shawshank w@nk gets a 9.2. What wrongness is that? Come on folks pep it up please, this is an awesome movie.

I agree completely, this film should be in the 'top 100'.

if you look at the vote distribution/sex you'll notice that 3/4 of the voters are male, that's the case with probably most of the movies on the imdb, so you could say that the rating is highly skewed to males'opinions about this movie, that after all, presents a strong female lead and focuses mainly on female emotions

I'm female, and I gave this movie zero stars. I hated every endless minute of it.

I'm 90 minutes in, and I'm going with a solid "1". Boring, pretentious horse$hit. Hetero Male, BTW. Even HK couldn't save this disaster.
