Holly Hunter's only good performance

This is the only production that I have ever enjoyed seeing Holly Hunter in. Namely because she didn't talk in it. Her voice is so damn irritating.

I like her voice. Though I don't consider it very beautiful or feminine I
believe it is very unique.
In fact in some movies I' ve recognised her because of it (especially in the
firm and the moonlight mile). As she changes her hair pretty often and her
appearance isn't a very striking one, her voice becomes her identity.
Its adds something in authenticity which I consider a big advantage for anyone
that wants to become famous.

I disagree. I have not seen many of Holly's movies, only "The Piano", "Raising Arizona", "The Incredibles" "Broadcast News" and "Living Out Loud". I think "Raising Arizona" is one of the best comedies ever filmed, and "The Incredibles" I found incredibly awesome for an animated genre movie. While the last two films I would say were not great, I think she was wonderful in all of them, even though "The Piano" is the only one so far that I would consider "Oscar worthy". One of the few silent and "foreign language" roles, too, to get nominated, let alone get the award. Not sure where she learned British Sign Language mind you, even if it was just for the film. I am in the process of learning American Sign Language myself, and I find it makes more sense, personally. Not that anyone from Scotland in the early or mid 19th century would have used it, so that would have been inappropriate and unrealistic.

I disagree that this is her only good performance. She's good in everything I've seen her in. This is definitely her best and most iconic performance though. But if you dislike her voice, than that's the problem for you, not necessarily her acting. Although I too sometimes dislike actors for their voices so I kind of understand where you're coming from. lol. I don't mind Holly's voice though.
