What a waste...

I had really expected this film to focus more on 1943 Germany, but I guess they didn't have the budget for all the period pieces. 'TPE2' feels more like a dulled down episode of 'Sliders' than anything else.

***SPOILERS***

The only redeeming part (for me at least) is the sight of a F-117 stealth fighter wearing swastikas in 1943 Germany. And its subsequent demolition. That's the only reason I'd watch this again at all, is to see that scene. What a waste...

I agree. I saw most of the first movie when I was a kid and thought it was dumb, so when I saw there was a sequel on Cinemax when I was like 13, I didn't exactly jump at the chance to see it. But I was flipping through the channels and suddenly saw the F-117 in Nazi markings. That piqued my interest, since it's not something you see every day. But overall, watching this was almost as painful as the kidney stone I had block my kindey.
