which should i start with

i know its sacrilege, i've been watching anime for over 8 years now and i've never seen this. today, i'm going to change that. but which would you all suggest i start with, the OVA or the TV show? thanks.

Doesn't really matter. The tv show almost covers the whole OVA story but it doesn't come close to the charm of the original. It's resembles the movie a lot.

If you're a fan of classic anime, i'd watch the ova first. If theres one anime that can be called a classic, it's this one. Then check out the movie and then the tv show.

Then don't do anything. Don't come near me. All you ever do is hurt me.

I think the OVA is a good start, it's the short version of the series.
