I keep hearing "I watched Ninja Scroll when I was 14". Seriously, how did so many kids get away with this. Their parwnts would have beaten them to death if they found out.

And i seen R-rated films in theaters as a kid and young teen like Fright Night, Commando, Die Hard trilogy, Robocop, Predator, True Lies, Total recall, Creepshow 2 terminator 2 etc. and all that and turned out fine.
Your just a milleninel and 90's kids are so much superior generation than yours. And the last century had quality r-rated adult actioners like Die Hard, Robocop, Hard Boiled, Ninja Scroll, Cobra, Lethal Weapon etc are not for prudish new millenilens kiddo. and back when Hollywood had balls. Although new stuff like Equalizer, Deadpool, John Wick, Sin City and Olympus has Fallen with Predators have captured the mood of old school actioners.
I don't like Emo (i detest those imitation goths) crap like Death Note, give me Ninja Scroll anytime.
