Never noticed this

Ooh, I'm slow on the up-take. Very, very slow. Okay, I've been a fan of Nightmare before Christmas since I was eleven-years-old. I'm thirty-four. And you know in This is Halloween where you get the lyric "Red and black and Slimy Green." I always wondered why orange wasn't mentioned. Sure, it's hard to rhyme but it IS a Halloween color. Then it occurred to me. The very next line is growled by the werewolf "Aren't you scared?" (Orange you scared.) The "aren't" is meant to sound a bit like orange. A subtle audio pun and I never noticed.

I never thought of that. I admit though I never could understand what they said in that scene. Also I always wondered what the oozing guy was supposed to be.
