Halloween or Christmas movie or both?

I'm currently having the debate with my partner. I personally think it could work as both. Opinions?

reply

Both, but it has more of a Christmas-spirit message, I think. But, as someone mentioned in another thread, it could be a Halloween movie lead-in to the Christmas season.

I always watch it around Halloween and Christmas. So definitely both.

Of course both......but I enjoy it probably even more around Christmas just because Christmas is a much more festive time with much more spirit. It's one of those movies I can watch countless times in December.

Both. Definitely both.

This is my signature.

only sick people would watch this for christmass, even santa look so evil. great for halloween.

Sick I be then. And proudly so. Muahahaahaha!

Halloween is the perfect time for it, although watching this movie during Christmas time also feels right. It undoubtedly captures the spirit of the Holiday and everything. But sure, most of its imagery still screams Halloween. Ultimately, I prefer it as a Halloween film since I gravitate more towards Hallow’s Eve.

My verdict: both.

I’d probably say I watch it more during Christmas time. However, I always try to catch it at least once around Halloween.

Do you believe in magic?

I always watch it around Halloween. I guess I'd say it's Halloween film but that's just my personal opinion
