What was the point?

Now I may have missed a few things because I had the whole thing on rewind (I have this obsessive need of watching bad movies hoping that they get better). But there wasn't a point, am I correct?

Has anyone whose ever worked on this film tried to explain why it is such a piece of crap? I really cannot phantom anyone apart of this movie reading the script (it was probably only like 10 pages) and saying this has got to be made! Let alone why any channel would pay for the rights to show this (Although it was on Chiller so maybe they were willing to pay for anything).
