Hi there, i just bought *Nemesis* on DVD for 2.99 Sealed fresh out the factory lol,
anyway can anyone know were i can get the other 3 movies? (im based in UK)but i could always import them, my dvd plays all regions.
im told it goes to number 4... yea sure they may not be great but i would like to have the set.
as for the other movies tho... what did you guys think of 2 3 & 4?

For your own sanity, stay away from the sequels. They have nothing to do with the first one, they are about a bodybuilder woman, also named Alex. Thats fighting against badguys in a desert somewhere... really terrible.

yeah i really cant recommend them, BUT if you grab a couple beers and prepare for the worst, atleast so that you can warn all your friends not to watch them, im sure you can find them online somewhere :D
shareYou better make it far more than a couple of beers!!! I tried it with a 12 pack and Nemesis 2 sucked so bad it created a vacuum in my entire apartment block. While I do like some bad movies, these should only be seen by those who truly want their liver to crawl up into the cranial cavity and slap around any mush that it may find there. I won't even get into Nemesis 3 and 4, I tried to like them, I seriously did, but when you find yourself looking forward to cutting your fingernails instead of the movies you rented, something is seriously wrong...

LOL, yeah seriously, those sequels really don't have anything to do with this movie.. it's just a bunch of poorly made rip-offs with a She-Man Alex Rain travelling back in time to fight some beggar-man's version of Predator in the middle of the desert.
There are a few good scenes in the second one, but the whole desert-scenario really is depressing, and leaves a thirst for something better.
I still went ahead and got the 3rd one (only out on VHS here in Denmark - the two first have had limited DVD-releases now out of print).. and the 3rd one was truly horrible, but every scene with Tim Thomerson was great though.
I haven't been able to dust up the 4th one on R2 DVD or VHS yet, but I'm certain it's horrible. I'd love to see Andrew Divoff in it though.. all his scenes are supposedly super-closeups, lol

Stick with the first one. 2 was ok, 3 was just unused footage from part 2 they edited together and its crap. 4 is just plain junk.
shareIt's been too long since I watched 2 or 3, and I never saw 4. One thing about 3 I liked was that Tim Thomerson returned to play FARNSWORTH 2. I think he was a good guy this time, but can't remember.

shareEach sequel is worse than the one before. With the second one being mediocre, The third one being hilariously bad, and the last one is unwatchable and confusing. Only one actor from the first film Tim Thomerson (a loyal collaborator of the director) was willing to come back for the third one.
