I have the US VHS Copy @ 92 minutes, Pre-Order VHS Copy @ 92 minutes and Director's Cut @ 89 minutes.

Is the Director's Cut and Pre-Order VHS Tapes known to exist?

Why is the Director's Cut shorter?

A "director's cut" is how the director envisioned the movie. Not all DC's are longer. Length has nothing to do with it. Just because there are deleted scenes that doesn't mean that the director wants them in the final version.
