Is this the movie?

Is this the movie where there is a scene, which could be a dream or an hallucination or something, where there are a bunch of little blue monsters running around? I could very well be thinking of another movie, but for whatever reason I always associated some movie with little blue monsters as NEEDFUL THINGS.

Note: I am NOT thinking of Little Monsters w/ Fred Savage either.
