Theme from Dexter?!?

I saw the movie a few days ago, for the first time in years.
I pretty much fell out of my couch when I suddenly heard "The Icetruck Killer" theme from Showtime's Dexter!

I thought all the music in Dexter was original and written for Dexter, but no, turns out the Icetruck Killer theme was in this movie way back in 1993.

Anyone know if the tune was written for this movie, or if it appears somewhere else even earlier?

I heard it too! Not sure if "Dexter" borrowed this theme but it certainly is VERY similar!

EDIT: Just noticed another thread here, it was the same composer recycling his own theme.

I'm watching this movie for the first time and heard the theme from dexter and checked out imdb forums for people that heard it too lol I thought I'm the only one
