I don't remember this film that well to write a comment.

I cruised over here because of looking up info on SILENT HILL.

This movie is total schloc - BUT - it is actually effectively creepy, achieves a very rare degree of body horror that is disturbing, and there are certain scenes that I will remember always.

I don't think this is a great movie for someone that does not like horror movies, but I think it is worth checking out.

It makes me look forward to SILENT HILL more, because Necronomicon was effective, given the limits of the film.

I think it's a very good little horror anthology: creepy, gruesome and quite enjoyable, with a nice spooky atmosphere, excellent make-up f/x, and a really fine cast. I especially liked the inspired performance by Jeffrey Combs as H.P. Lovecraft.

I agree 100%. It deserves an higher rating.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
