HOLY CRAP, that 'Whispers' story!

WOW!

Just finished watching this flick.

The "Library" part started so schlocky and the camera work and photography direction was so cheesy and cheap. I almost stopped watching it. And then the part with Bruce Payne was only interesting because of Bruce Payne. The middle story was forgettable. But then... OMG... THAT THIRD STORY!

LOL

WOW!

There aren't even current-day horror movies that go where that one went. Oh wow. That kind of stuff can give you nightmares. That was the only story that was genuinely terrifying with some disturbing themes. I mean, wow. You were trying to root for the cop, but dang, there was like nothing she could do in that kind of scenario. Wow.

I'm curious how people reacted to that "Whispers" story back in the day when this movie first came out? The other two stories were kind of throwaways (even though the practical effects for each of the stories was quite impressive to be a low-budget 90s flick), but that third one... just... wow.

One of the most shockingly disturbing, stomach-turning, depressing horror story I have ever seen. Made me want to kill myself for a while.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

Yeah, the third story with the cops was very good.

Awesome gore and a creepy storyline with a "what the hell" ending.

I remember reading reviews of this film when it was released on rental in the UK, it looked good but didn't get any promotion and wasn't quite theatrical quality production but for horror fans, it's an under the radar classic.

Not a surprise the 3rd segment, the best in the film, was directed by Brian Yuzna.
