I have only seen this film once, about 10 years ago but absolutely loved it.
I'm currently trying to buy all of my personal classic films on DVD - often old 80's and 90's films I saw when I was a teenager - and am struggling to find a copy of naked.
Is it available on DVD, or is a new release due?
David Thewlis is just about my favourite actor and this is probably his best role.
It wasn't available for years (much to the annoyance of its many fans) this despite the fact that virtually everything else in Mike Leigh's back catalogue was available to buy.
I eventually got my copy of the DVD from a French release which was out a couple of years before the English Region 2 release. Criterion released the region 1 in the States about a year ago? - (not sure). It's definitely widely available now though. Try Amazon or most good DVD shops, they're bound to have it.
